You’re welcome to get in touch with the artist directly to see if they’re open to commissions. Or, you can e-mail the gallery at dggartinfo@gmail.com, and we will connect you with the artist.
How do I pay for a commissioned artwork?
Once an artist has agreed to take on your commission and set a price, the artist will let you know how and when to pay.
How can I check the progress of my commissioned artwork?
Your artist will be in touch with regularly to keep you updated on the progress of your commission.
Can I return a commissioned artwork?
Unfortunately, commissioned artworks can’t be returned. A custom-made commission piece is non-refundable due to the time, effort, and materials invested in creating a unique piece just for you.
How much will it cost?
That’s up to you and the artist! You set your budget when you first commission the artist and the two of you work together to determine the price.
How long will it take?
There are many factors that influence how long it will take an artist to complete a piece of artwork. When you enter into an agreement with the artist, the completion deadline will be stipulated.
What can I commission?
Anything you like! Whether it’s a portrait of a person or your pet, a landscape painting, an abstract work, a mural, live wedding painting, or something else. You will just need to provide the artist with a clear idea of what you want them to create. It can also be a great idea to e-mail them a photo of what you would like.
Can I use a promotional code or discount when commissioning artwork?
No. Promotional codes and discounts can only be applied to artwork and art objects listed at full-price on the Drinking Gourd gallery web site. Promotional codes and discounts can’t be used for custom-made commission pieces.
