Collection: Artist Anthony Barnes Earns Festival Exhibition Placement

We’re pleased to announce that Anthony Barnes has been selected to participate in the Raleigh Film and Art Festival (RFAF) upcoming “Living in Color” festival exhibition, marking an exciting milestone in the artist’s practice. Chosen through a competitive selection process, the accepted work titled Prayer in the Clouds reflects the artist’s distinctive voice and ongoing exploration of African-American culture.
The “Living in Color” festival exhibition will open with a public reception on January 31, 2026, offering audiences an opportunity to experience the work in person and engage with a dynamic roster of participating artists. The exhibition will remain on view throughout the month of February 2026, inviting sustained reflection and conversation around the diverse works on display.
This festival selection highlights the continued momentum of Barnes’ work and its resonance within the broader contemporary arts community. Visitors are encouraged to attend the opening reception and return throughout February to experience the exhibition in full.
